PLASA planning guide: arrive with questions, not just a shopping list
A useful exhibition visit starts before the doors open. Turn demonstrations and conversations into better decisions.

Trade shows place a huge amount of technology in one building. Without a plan, it is easy to collect brochures and leave without answering the questions that mattered.
Build a short challenge list
Write down the jobs your current equipment does not solve well: faster load-in, better colour for camera, simpler control, lower noise or a more manageable audio installation.
Compare like with like
Ask demonstrators to show the same task on each product. Compare dimming, zoom, colour and movement rather than only the brightest look.
Photograph the label, then the detail
A phone full of anonymous connectors is not useful after the show. Capture the product name first, then the feature and the question that still needs answering.
Leave room for discovery
NewsBlast event stories can collect previews, product links and follow-up articles in one place before and after the show.
